PeopleDoc Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Facilitate the migration of HR document templates from Workday to PeopleDoc, ensuring the preservation of business logic, formatting, branding, and conditional rules.

• Align Workday data fields with PeopleDoc placeholders and tokens.

• Redesign document generation logic and set up reusable template components and libraries.

• Configure and oversee PeopleDoc document templates, workflows, employee file structures, metadata, retention policies, access controls, and archives.

• Partner with HR and Workday teams to evaluate source templates and business needs.

• Create source-to-target mapping documentation while assisting with data validation and exception handling.

• Organize and support configuration, unit testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, production deployment, and hypercare.

• Verify PeopleDoc-generated documents against Workday outputs to ensure accuracy in field mapping, conditional logic, formatting, branding, business rules, and regulatory compliance.

• Generate configuration workbooks, migration documentation, mapping documents, test scripts, defect logs, deployment checklists, handover documentation, and knowledge articles.

• Oversee migration activities within cross-functional Agile teams and address document-generation incidents.

• Assist with Business As Usual (BAU) enhancements and ongoing improvements in HR document management.

• Provide post-go-live support to ensure a smooth transition to BAU operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in implementing or supporting PeopleDoc Document Generation solutions.

• Practical experience in migrating HR document templates from Workday to PeopleDoc.

• In-depth understanding of Workday HCM data structures and document generation processes.

• Experience in configuring document templates, workflows, metadata, and employee file structures.

• Background in supporting large-scale HR transformation or HRIS implementation initiatives.

• Familiarity with document validation, testing, and production deployments.

• Experience in Agile delivery methodologies and working with cross-functional project teams.

• Proven track record in providing post-go-live support and BAU enhancements.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Human Resources, Business Information Systems, or a related field.

• Experience with PeopleDoc (UKG HR Service Delivery) implementations is highly preferred.

• Workday HCM knowledge or certification is a plus.

• Agile or Scrum certification is advantageous.

• Strong proficiency in PeopleDoc Document Generation, PeopleDoc Document Manager, and Employee Document Management.

• Familiarity with GDPR, document retention requirements, HR document compliance, audit controls, and secure document management.

• Hands-on experience with Workday HCM business objects, worker data, job and position data, organizational structures, compensation data, personal information, calculated fields, condition rules, Workday reports, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Workday integrations, and HR security concepts.

• Solid understanding of HR processes including hiring, job changes, transfers, compensation adjustments, contract generation, employment letters, terminations, and policy acknowledgements.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Excellent skills in stakeholder engagement and communication.

• Ability to interpret complex HR business requirements.

• High attention to detail regarding document formatting and data accuracy.
