This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Take charge of enhancing People Operations processes encompassing recruiting, onboarding, employee lifecycle management, and offboarding.
• Oversee and optimize HRIS, ATS, and associated People systems.
• Collaborate with recruiting teams to refine hiring operations and candidate workflows.
• Develop scalable reports and dashboards for recruiting and people metrics.
• Promote process automation and operational efficiency throughout People functions.
• Ensure the integrity of data, compliance, and accurate management of employee records.
• Assist in compensation, benefits, and headcount planning operations.
• Generate documentation, workflows, and standard operating procedures for People processes.
• Collaborate across departments with Finance, Legal, IT, and business leaders.
• Assess and implement new People tools and systems as the organization grows.
• Enhance employee and candidate experiences through operational excellence and deliberate systems design.
• Design, execute, and oversee scalable people programs and operational initiatives across the employee lifecycle.
• Build and lead a high-performing People Operations team over time.
• 7-10+ years of experience in People Operations, Recruiting Operations, HR Systems, or related fields.
• Strong background in managing HRIS and ATS platforms (e.g., Rippling, Workday, BambooHR, Ashby, Greenhouse, Lever).
• Demonstrated ability to establish and scale People processes in high-growth or startup settings.
• Experience in supporting both recruiting operations and broader HR functions.
• Strong analytical capabilities with experience in creating reports, dashboards, and operational metrics.
• Keen attention to detail with robust project management and organizational abilities.
• Experience in driving process enhancements and workflow automation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to merge strategic thinking with practical execution.
• Previous people management experience, including team building or leadership roles.
• Strong ownership mentality and comfort in navigating ambiguous environments.
