This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of the design and configuration of the Workday platform.
• Lead the configuration efforts across Core HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Absence, and Time Tracking, encompassing business processes, security groups, condition rules, and calculated fields.
• Act as the primary technical authority for Workday enhancements.
• Collaborate with People, Payroll, Finance, IT, and Legal teams to gather requirements and convert business challenges into scalable system solutions.
• Establish administration frameworks and standards for security role design, tenant and environment management, change control, testing protocols, and documentation.
• Create reusable and scalable solutions.
• Manage change, including stakeholder communications, training, enablement, and adoption measurement.
• Assess Workday processes, integrations, and user interfaces to pinpoint inefficiencies.
• Review Workday release notes, evaluate feature impact, execute regression testing, implement new functionalities, and oversee release communication and prioritization.
• Identify and proactively address manual workflows within People Operations.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in HRIS/People Systems, featuring substantial hands-on Workday configuration and administration.
• Proven expertise in at least one Workday module: Payroll, Benefits, or Absence, along with a working knowledge of the other two and their interactions.
• Workday certification is preferred.
• Strong understanding of the Workday business process framework, security configuration, condition rules, and calculated fields.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex systems initiatives from start to finish.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Capable of working both independently and collaboratively across teams.
• Proven track record of handling confidential employee information with discretion.
• Experience in designing systems that adhere to audit and compliance standards.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future employer sponsorship.
• Open to utilizing AI to enhance skills and improve work efficiency.
