This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver management and user support for PACS and various clinical system applications utilized within Imaging Services.
• Manage PACS equipment, encompassing image workflow, archiving, auto routing, pre-fetching, and image quality assurance.
• Ensure accurate DICOM digital image data transfer into PACS, facilitate network transmission RIS validation, and handle exceptions.
• Execute database additions, modifications, and testing in line with business requirements and project initiatives.
• Assess and formulate solutions to user issues while providing support for clinical systems.
• Identify, interpret, evaluate, and resolve issues related to PACS and other clinical systems.
• Determine necessary tasks, delegate responsibilities, set completion dates, and communicate progress effectively.
• Suggest enhancements in equipment, software, and system workflows to meet current and future PACS demands.
• Create educational materials and communicate work plans for both initial and ongoing end-user training.
• Explore operational challenges and draft proposals in collaboration with Radiologists, Operations Managers, Supervisors, technologists, and administrative staff.
• Establish operating standards, policies, procedures, and training programs in conjunction with Imaging, IS, and IT teams.
• Evaluate user feedback and support data to recommend procedural and educational modifications.
• Identify and design prospective QA/QC needs and efficient workflow processes alongside Imaging teams.
• An associate degree in computer science or a related field.
• A minimum of two years of experience in radiology information systems is preferred.
• A combination of education and experience that is equivalent may be considered.
