This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Analyze complex issues in servers, networks, private cloud settings, and systems to determine root causes.

• Propose solutions that consider technical viability, timelines, and customer priorities.

• Evaluate, refine, and automate processes to enhance reliability, efficiency, and consistency.

• Identify risks in advance and execute strategies to prevent disruptions.

• Design comprehensive infrastructure solutions across various platforms and technologies.

• Integrate systems in both hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.

• Automate workflows and processes to optimize delivery and minimize errors.

• Create documentation for architectures and procedures to ensure smooth hand-offs, knowledge sharing, and operational continuity.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Architects, Project Managers, and Technicians.

• Oversee project delivery from inception to completion with a focus on quality and timelines.

• Articulate technical solutions effectively to customers and stakeholders.

• Achieve significant, high-impact outcomes that enhance customer confidence.

• Broaden technical knowledge across private cloud platforms, enterprise IT systems, and emerging technologies.

• Explore career advancements towards Architect or Distinguished Engineer positions.


⛳️ Requirements

• Comprehensive expertise in High-Performance Computing.

• Experience in Solaris administration.

• Proficiency in automation scripting.

• Expertise with Red Hat Satellite.

• Familiarity with Supermicro hardware.

• Experience in enterprise IT environments.

• Practical experience in supporting High-Performance Computing (HPC).

• Hands-on experience with Supermicro hardware and Solaris systems.

• Practical experience with scripting and automation tools.

• Extensive knowledge of Linux/UNIX/Solaris operating systems.

• Understanding of various IT concepts, practices, and procedures.

• Knowledge of design methods, tools, and principles for producing precise technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.

• Logical reasoning to assess alternative solutions, conclusions, or methodologies.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
