This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• As a dedicated People Partner located in Brisbane, you will collaborate with leaders throughout the APAC region to provide practical people solutions that enhance business performance and foster an outstanding employee experience.
• Take ownership of the People Partnering relationships for designated business groups, delivering commercially sound people advice that aligns the people strategy with business objectives.
• Cultivate trusted relationships with leaders; offer coaching on people-related issues such as performance, employee engagement, organizational change, and team effectiveness.
• Guide leaders in building high-performing, engaged teams. Enhance managerial capabilities through coaching, guidance, and practical tools that empower effective people leadership.
• Collaborate with leaders on workforce planning, talent development, succession planning, and organizational design initiatives.
• Handle complex employee relations issues across APAC, including performance management, misconduct, grievances, and workplace conflict resolution.
• Assist leaders in performance management and facilitate conversations, ensuring outcomes are timely, fair, and consistent.
• Ensure adherence to employment legislation and best practices in people management across various jurisdictions.
• Partner with the Legal team to manage employment-related risks and address complex workplace issues.
• Support the implementation of employee engagement, onboarding, recognition, and wellbeing programs that enrich the employee experience.
• Promote continuous improvement of People systems, policies, processes, and reporting.
• Manage and contribute to People & Culture projects that align with the strategic priorities of the team.
• 7–10 years of experience in a People Partner or Senior HR Generalist role within dynamic organizations.
• Proven experience partnering with senior leaders across multiple countries, employment jurisdictions, and business functions.
• Significant experience in managing complex employee relations matters and providing commercially balanced advice.
• Experience in managing a small team, mentoring colleagues, or leading project teams is preferred.
• Background in technology, SaaS, or other fast-paced, high-growth environments is highly valued.
• Strong capability in business partnering and coaching.
• Excellent knowledge of people practices and employment legislation across various jurisdictions.
• Demonstrated ability to balance commercial outcomes with the employee experience.
• Strong skills in stakeholder management, influencing, and relationship building.
• Exceptional communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
• High resilience and adaptability.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and change in a global context.
• Proactive, collaborative, and solution-oriented, with a mindset geared toward continuous improvement.
• International HR experience supporting managers and employees across multiple countries and time zones is preferred (especially in Australia, North America, and Europe).
