• Collaborate with the Regional Director to effectively comprehend, implement, and oversee talent planning initiatives throughout the region, taking full responsibility for manpower and succession planning.
• Assist in conducting quarterly people reviews across the region, which will encompass all elements of the people agenda, including talent strategies, gathering Nandoca insights, and evaluating business performance, ensuring a mindful approach to our culture.
• Ensure that the outcomes of talent planning promote 'Flying Higher,' facilitating personal growth for individuals to reach their full potential and be job-ready, thereby fulfilling internal manpower requirements while consciously nurturing our culture.
• Contribute to the benchmarking of internal promotions to guarantee that we are cultivating and advancing the finest talent in our industry, who will bolster our business expansion and enrich our cultural integrity.
• Collaborate with Learning & Development to comprehend existing learning initiatives that support talent development, while also sharing insights on talent gaps where relevant educational interventions may be necessary for our internal succession.
• Partner with the RD/MDs to identify and address performance challenges by providing suitable support and counsel.
• Demonstrated experience as a People Business Partner (or similar role) in a dynamic, multi-site setting, preferably in hospitality, retail, or customer-oriented operations.
• A strong commitment to helping individuals achieve their utmost potential.
• Displays authentic curiosity and interest in HR, possessing a solid understanding of HR principles, legal frameworks, and their relevance within Nando's.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively through appropriate support, guidance, constructive challenges, and co-creation.
• An authentic leadership approach that motivates key stakeholders to collaborate.
• Flexibility to know when to make compromises to safeguard individuals, regions, and the business.
