This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Assist with HR administrative tasks for internal employees throughout the UK organization, ensuring that employee records and HR systems are precise and current.
• Oversee the administration of new starters, employee changes, and leavers, including onboarding documentation, status modifications, pay-related updates, offboarding requests, and exit paperwork.
• Aid in the processes related to eligibility, right-to-work, TUPE onboarding, and internal documentation, ensuring all necessary checks and records are accurately completed.
• Utilize BambooHR and other HR systems to enter, update, access, and compile employee data for the People Team and the broader organization.
• Collaborate with hiring managers, senior stakeholders, and internal teams to facilitate job advertisement requests and recruitment-related administration.
• Support the management of internal staff absence, including sickness, bereavement, and other absence types, ensuring return-to-work confirmations and payroll-related updates are accurately processed.
• Monitor and address inquiries received via the UK HR inbox, including queries related to holidays, sickness updates, changes to employee records, document requests, system updates, and general HR support.
• Provide administrative and clerical assistance to the broader People Team, including reference letters, eye test vouchers, employee documentation, record updates, and urgent HR system tasks.
• Escalate complex or sensitive issues to the appropriate member of the People Team and ensure that confidential employee information is managed in accordance with company policy and data protection regulations.
• Prior experience in HR administration, People support, or a related administrative position.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong level of accuracy when managing employee data.
• Proficient in using HR systems, spreadsheets, shared inboxes, and document management processes.
• Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to juggle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
• A people-centric mindset and a professional demeanor when addressing employee and manager inquiries.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Capability to appropriately manage confidential and sensitive information.
• Confidence in adhering to processes and escalating issues as necessary.
• Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, especially spreadsheets, documents, and email.
• A proactive attitude and eagerness to assist the wider People Team.
• Basic understanding of UK HR administrative processes.
• Experience with BambooHR or comparable systems is preferred.
