This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North America.
• Facilitate the implementation of the people strategy from start to finish, working independently to establish the process, document it, implement it, train managers, and maintain it on an ongoing basis.
• Recognize gaps within onboarding, offboarding, and the overall employee lifecycle, and develop scalable solutions that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and overall experience.
• Manage and enhance onboarding as a fundamental People Ops program: pre-boarding, Day 1, and initial ramp-up, ensuring it remains high-quality, consistent, and continuously improving as we expand.
• Oversee payroll operations comprehensively: ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant runs, while enhancing processes and controls as we grow.
• Handle day-to-day benefits operations, including enrollments and changes, serving as the trusted primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries.
• Manage the complete lifecycle of leave and accommodations: from intake and coordination to documentation.
• A seasoned People Ops professional with experience supporting the entire spectrum from benefits, onboarding, payroll, compliance, to leave administration.
• A reliable partner for managers and employees at all levels.
• Excellent judgment, particularly regarding employee relations, with the ability to discern what to manage and what to escalate.
• Proficient with HRIS and comfortable managing people data, reporting, and audit preparedness.
• A strong foundation in employment and payroll compliance relevant to a company of our size.
