This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +2 more states.
• Establishing strategic partnerships with the organization to enhance overall operational efficiency and division performance.
• Offering coaching and support to leaders on workforce planning, culture development, organizational policies and procedures, as well as the communication of key initiatives.
• Implementing people programs including talent reviews, performance calibrations, merit and incentive awards, and engagement surveys/action plans.
• Addressing associate relations issues responsively and managing conflicts in various situations like performance coaching or dissatisfied associates; guiding associates to appropriate resources for assistance as necessary.
• Evaluating and executing proactive retention strategies.
• Collaborating with leadership to assess leadership capabilities and ensure that development and succession plans are established to meet current and future business needs.
• Facilitating and coaching leadership development programs to enhance capabilities; promoting organizational health by fostering associate engagement.
• Acting as a change agent, reinforcing and reminding of key messages.
• Engaging in the Company's response to union organizing efforts.
• Continuously exploring innovative methods to achieve superior business outcomes and leading effective organizational change.
• Working collaboratively across functions to ensure adherence to all relevant Federal, State, and Local legislative requirements.
• Upholding confidentiality regarding financial information, insurance and litigation documents, associate data (such as wage information, disciplinary records, health information), and other sensitive information.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7-9 years of relevant experience.
• Background in Human Resources (Business Partner) within a geographically dispersed retail, manufacturing, or similar environment.
• Proven experience in managing associate relations issues and understanding labor laws.
• Strong business acumen with a demonstrated ability to influence and achieve results through others.
