📋 Description

• Design and continuously enhance the comprehensive People Ops and TA operational framework, integrating AI agents and agentic workflows as the standard execution layer throughout onboarding, offboarding, employee lifecycle transitions, and the recruitment process.

• Create and implement AI agents to manage routine operational tasks end-to-end, including the orchestration of onboarding tasks, compliance documentation, offer letter generation, interview scheduling, and handling tier-1 employee inquiries.

• Utilize AI to oversee and ensure multi-country HR compliance across our six operational regions, developing agentic checks that identify risks, highlight regulatory changes, and maintain our entity-level obligations without the need for manual tracking.

• Develop AI-driven reporting and analytics for the People and TA functions, generating real-time dashboards, insights into the hiring funnel, and operational health metrics that the VP of People and pillar leads can utilize without requesting them.

• Manage our HRIS, ATS, and broader People technology stack as an integrated, AI-enhanced system, assessing new tools based on agent-readiness and API-first design instead of merely feature lists.

• Leverage AI to assist the TA function with an emphasis on pipeline forecasting, maintaining recruiting data integrity, and funnel reporting, collaborating with hiring managers to incorporate AI into their tracking and interpretation of hiring data.

• Oversee benefits administration and vendor management for our US entity, utilizing AI to simplify open enrollment, automate eligibility tracking, and generate utilization insights that shape future benefits strategies.

• Employ AI to provide a seamless, high-quality employee experience at scale, proactively identifying friction points throughout the lifecycle and deploying agents or workflows to address them before they escalate into tickets.

• Spearhead AI-driven process documentation and knowledge management across People Ops, ensuring every workflow is documented in a manner that is both easily understandable and executable by agents.

• Collaborate with Finance, IT, and Legal through AI-augmented workflows for cross-functional operations, including headcount planning, system access provisioning, and contract and policy management.

• Mentor and enhance the broader People team on AI fluency, agent design, and operational automation, exemplifying what a forward-thinking AI-powered People Ops function looks like in practice.

• Establish AI governance for the People function, ensuring our implementation of agents and AI tools is compliant, ethical, and aligned with our handling of sensitive employee and candidate data globally.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in People Operations or HR Ops, including some leadership or team lead responsibilities.

• Prior experience in SaaS or fast-growing technology sectors is vital. You have a clear understanding of how a global, multi-entity People function operates and the challenges that arise at scale.

• Extensive, hands-on proficiency with AI tools, agent builders, and agentic workflows. You have personally developed, deployed, and maintained agents responsible for real operational tasks, not just experimented with them.

• Strong technical acumen: comfortable with APIs, integrations, automation platforms (such as Zapier, Make, n8n, or similar), and prompt engineering as core competencies rather than supplementary skills.

• Experience in multi-country HR Ops is highly preferred, ideally encompassing some combination of the US, UK, Australia/NZ, Canada, and the Philippines.

• Demonstrated ability to reinvent operational processes from the ground up as opposed to making incremental improvements, with a strong preference for automation over increasing headcount.

• Familiarity with US benefits administration, including open enrollment, carrier management, and compliance (ACA, ERISA basics).

• Understanding of HR compliance across various jurisdictions, with the discernment to know when AI can manage a compliance task and when human intervention is necessary.

• Data fluency: capable of building operational dashboards, interpreting funnel metrics natively, and leveraging AI to delve deeper and faster than what the tools alone can provide.

• A systems thinker who can maintain the entire operational landscape across People Ops, TA, and Benefits simultaneously, designing how they interconnect.

• A player-coach mindset: sufficiently experienced to operate independently, willing to engage in the execution of work personally, with the ambition to grow a pillar as we scale.

• Unwavering integrity, high emotional intelligence, and discretion with sensitive employee and candidate information.

• Genuine enthusiasm for the direction AI is taking the People function, alongside a strong perspective on what an AI-native HR operation should entail.
