This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Facilitate a smooth and engaging onboarding experience for our clinical team, working closely with cross-functional partners to ensure that new hires are well-prepared for success from the pre-hire stage through their initial weeks at Lyra.
• Update and present the New Hire Orientation (NHO) program, ensuring it accurately reflects our current programs, culture, and resources.
• Manage both pre-hire and post-hire task execution, which includes assigning onboarding paths in WorkRamp, overseeing the I-9 process, ensuring the completion and acknowledgment of the Employee Handbook and Global Code of Conduct, coordinating background checks, and preparing new hire kits.
• Continuously enhance the clinical onboarding program in collaboration with the People Ops and Clinical Ops teams, integrating feedback and best practices to improve retention and engagement for new hires.
• Implement Workday business processes with a strong emphasis on accuracy and timeliness, including job changes, geo-location updates, name changes, and other organizational changes.
• Act as a reliable contact for employees, managers, clinical leads, and HRBPs requiring assistance with Workday business processes, appropriately escalating complex issues.
• Contribute to comprehensive documentation of Workday processes to foster transparency and consistency for cross-functional partners.
• Manage and implement a structured, compliant offboarding process for departing employees in Workday, ensuring data integrity during employee transitions.
• Collaborate with relevant teams to oversee system deactivations, exit interview logistics, and accurate documentation, ensuring audit readiness at all times.
• Assist in analyzing offboarding trends to provide retention-related insights for the broader People Team.
• Serve as a trusted and responsive resource for employees by addressing HR inquiries submitted through Workday tickets, offering timely and accurate guidance.
• Maintain and update the People Operations knowledge bases in Workday (and Zendesk where relevant), ensuring that articles accurately reflect current processes, policies, and FAQs.
• Support the broader HR Bot enablement strategy by keeping clinical-specific knowledge base content updated and contributing to trend analysis from ticket interactions to minimize recurring inquiries over time.
• Demonstrate measurable impact by reducing ticket volume through proactive updates to the knowledge base and efficiently escalating complex cases to the appropriate team members.
• Administer and resolve issues related to compliance training assignments, including harassment prevention and California Workplace Violence training, ensuring completion and accuracy.
• Collaborate with People Operations and Compliance team members on compliance-related operational tasks, acting as a dependable execution resource for clinical-specific compliance workflows.
• Ensure accurate and secure personnel records are maintained in compliance with all legal, regulatory, and data privacy requirements.
• Engage in special initiatives that further People Operations priorities, including process improvement initiatives, new tool implementations, and explorations into automation and AI.
• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2+ years of experience in an HR generalist or operations role; experience in fast-growing, complex, or clinical organizations is preferred.
• Experience with an HRIS, preferably Workday; comfortable executing business processes and ensuring data accuracy within HR systems.
• Understanding of federal and state employment laws; familiarity with clinical workforce operations or healthcare HR environments is advantageous.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy and follow-through.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build trust with employees and partners across a remote and distributed workforce.
• Highly organized and adaptable, capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment while maintaining quality and responsiveness.
• Collaborative mindset and comfort in functioning as an execution partner within a team of specialists; able to follow directions while also identifying opportunities for process improvements.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and MS Office Suite.
• Familiarity with AI tools or automation within an HR context is a plus.
