As part of our dedication to quality and innovation, we are looking for a **People Generalist** for **Central Europe (Poland, Germany & Austria)** to join our People Team and contribute to the ongoing growth and success of our business.

β€’ The Mountain Warehouse People team is evolving its People Strategy with a focus on ensuring that all our colleagues have an exceptional experience and that we become an employer of choice.

β€’ We are laying the groundwork to advance systems, implement engaging colleague initiatives, establish progressive policies, and foster development to help our colleagues reach their full potential.

β€’ In the capacity of People Generalist, you will be instrumental in providing operational HR support across Poland, Germany, and Austria.

β€’ You will serve as a vital point of contact for HR inquiries, ensuring consistent and compliant people practices throughout the retail business.

β€’ This role merges hands-on operational execution with advisory support to retail leadership, promoting effective working methods and a positive colleague experience.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ 2–3 years of experience in an HR Administrator or Generalist role, preferably in a retail or multi-site setting.

β€’ Experience in supporting Poland, along with a solid understanding of Polish employment legislation (experience with Germany and/or Austria is a plus).

β€’ Confidence in providing practical HR advice to line managers, with sound judgment regarding when to escalate issues.

β€’ Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail, capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.

β€’ Excellent communication skills, with the capability to foster relationships across various organizational levels.

β€’ Experience with HR systems, emphasizing data accuracy and integrity.

β€’ Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

β€’ A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.

β€’ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

β€’ Fluency in English and Polish; knowledge of German would be advantageous.

β€’ Flexibility to operate across time zones as part of a global People function.
