This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Independently lead P&C projects from initial concept to implementation.
• Actively influence people-related processes and discussion topics, including administrative execution.
• Create and maintain the career framework and salary bands.
• Perform market benchmarking for roles and pay structures.
• Execute compensation decisions administratively, ensuring proper documentation, communication, and process hygiene.
• Assess the performance review system and implement sensible adjustments.
• Design and prepare future review cycles, including processes, templates, timelines, and communications.
• Organize and manage discussions around development, salary, and performance administratively.
• Oversee employee conversations and conflict-related issues with managers, identifying necessary improvements.
• Represent the organization in employee meetings or provide support for conflict issues as needed.
• Further develop engagement and culture initiatives within a remote-first company.
• Create pulse checks, feedback formats, and culture initiatives.
• Extract actionable insights from data and employee feedback.
• Report to the Head of People & Culture and collaborate closely with Recruiting and P&C Admin.
• At least 3–5 years of professional experience in HR/People & Culture.
• Strong practical experience in Compensation & Benefits.
• Capability to independently develop processes from conception to clean implementation.
• Confident in conducting employee conversations and addressing conflict topics.
• Good understanding of culture and engagement within distributed, remote-first teams.
• Demonstrated trustworthiness in handling sensitive topics such as salary, development, and conflicts.
• Fluent in German.
• Proficient in English.
• Structured working style with excellent documentation skills.
• Experience with Personio, Notion, and Microsoft Teams is desirable.
• Experience in performance and project management is a plus but not mandatory.
