This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.
• Collaborate closely with APJ leaders and managers to enhance organizational effectiveness, team wellbeing, and high performance.
• Bring a considerate perspective on people to leadership decisions, including team structuring, performance management, and talent growth.
• Serve as a reliable partner to leaders as they navigate intricate employee situations and adapt to changing organizational needs.
• Act as the regional liaison for employment practices and compliance throughout APJ.
• Collaborate with Legal and external advisors to ensure conformity with local employment regulations and laws.
• Guarantee that global people programs and policies are effectively implemented and customized to meet local requirements when necessary.
• Oversee key People Operations processes within APJ, ensuring that regional execution aligns with global standards while satisfying local needs.
• Direct the regional execution of essential people programs, such as performance cycles, compensation processes, and talent initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to enhance the scalability and efficiency of regional people processes.
• Support the operational requirements of the region, including vendor management, documentation practices, and local employment process oversight as applicable.
• Act as a connector between APJ and the global People organization, providing regional insights into company-wide initiatives.
• Work closely with cross-functional partners, including Legal, Finance, and leadership teams.
• Ensure that APJ viewpoints are integrated into global people strategies and programs.
• Extensive experience in HR Business Partnering and regional HR leadership, ideally collaborating with teams across APJ.
• Strong understanding of APJ employment practices and compliance considerations.
• Ability to function effectively at both strategic and operational levels, transitioning seamlessly between leadership advisory and hands-on execution.
• Experience in global, distributed organizations.
• Excellent relationship-building and influencing skills across diverse cultures and geographies.
• A pragmatic and adaptable operator who enjoys engaging in high-impact work across various areas of the People function.
• Comfortable establishing structure and processes in environments where regional operations are still developing.
