This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +2 more states.
• Take ownership of and manage onboarding processes from the acceptance of an offer through the first 90 days of employment.
• Act as the main point of contact for new employees during the onboarding and orientation phases, ensuring a welcoming and well-organized experience.
• Organize onboarding schedules, orientation sessions, necessary documentation, and first-day logistics across various departments.
• Collaborate with Learning & Development, IT, Operations, Payroll, and leadership teams to guarantee timely onboarding readiness, including system access, equipment arrangements, and overall support.
• Oversee and execute offboarding processes from notice through final separation, which includes managing offboarding documentation, system access removal, and coordinating the return of equipment.
• Conduct and document exit interviews and stay interviews, analyze trends, and contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives related to onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Create, maintain, and enhance standard operating procedures (SOPs), workflows, process documentation, tracking tools, and other resources to ensure consistency and scalability.
• Keep organized records of onboarding and offboarding, including dashboards, tracking tools, and reporting metrics.
• Identify process inefficiencies and suggest actionable improvements to enhance efficiency, consistency, and operational effectiveness.
• Support coordination and documentation related to internal employee transitions, organizational changes, and People & Culture initiatives.
• Assist in the development, coordination, and upkeep of training materials, resources, and documentation related to onboarding processes.
• Collaborate with People & Culture Leadership and cross-functional teams to effectively and consistently manage onboarding, offboarding, and employee transition processes.
• Exercise sound judgment in handling standard onboarding and offboarding issues while working with People & Culture Leadership on matters involving policy interpretation, compliance, or significant employee relations risks.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive employee information and documentation.
• Fulfill additional duties, responsibilities, and related tasks as assigned by People & Culture Leadership to support departmental and organizational objectives.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory, along with a minimum of four (4) years of experience in onboarding, offboarding, employee experience, HR coordination, People Operations, or a closely related area.
• A bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Psychology, Humanities, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience in coordinating and managing onboarding and offboarding processes involving multiple stakeholders.
• Experience in a legal, professional services, and/or rapidly expanding multi-state organization is highly regarded.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe, and Zoom, along with experience using HRIS platforms, onboarding systems, electronic personnel records, or similar systems.
• Demonstrated attention to detail, organizational skills, and follow-through.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and coordinate across functions in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
