People Analytics Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and Manage the People Analytics Platform: Oversee the complete implementation and continuous administration of Vizier as our primary people analytics platform. Set up integrations with Workday, Culture Amp, and Greenhouse.

• Assess and Communicate AI ROI: Create a rigorous, repeatable methodology for evaluating the return on investment from AI initiatives across Ascend and our partner organizations.

• Provide Proactive, Predictive Workforce Intelligence: Create predictive models and forward-looking analyses that identify risks and opportunities before they escalate into issues.

• Generate M&A People Analytics Materials: Craft a consistent collection of analytics resources that showcase Ascend's quantifiable effects on culture, retention, engagement, and performance within acquired firms.

• Collaborate on Upskilling Impact Assessment: Work closely with our AI Enablement and Professional Development team to establish measurement frameworks and reporting mechanisms.

• Enhance Through Systems and AI: Develop systems and utilize AI tools and agents to significantly expand your capacity.


⛳️ Requirements

• 7–12 years of experience in people analytics, HR data science, organizational research, or a closely related area; experience in a People Scientist role at a prestigious organization is highly favored.

• Proven expertise in people analytics platforms; experience with Visier is strongly preferred, and familiarity with Workday is required.

• Experience in integrating and extracting insights from various HR data sources (such as CultureAmp, Greenhouse, HRIS, L&D platforms, etc.).

• Strong business acumen with a track record of linking business outcomes to people performance.

• Demonstrated capability to calculate and communicate ROI from HR and technology investments, including AI.

• Strong quantitative abilities: statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and data visualization skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to adapt narratives and visual presentations for C-suite, Board, HR, and business unit audiences.

• Experience in creating executive-level presentations and polished external-facing materials.

• Familiarity with AI and automation tools; demonstrated ability—or evident potential—to utilize AI agents to enhance individual productivity.

• Proven ability to work independently in a high-growth, ambiguous environment.

• A background in organizational psychology, industrial-organizational psychology, HR, or a related field is a significant advantage.
