This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Act as the main SWBC PEO representative and primary liaison with designated clients and shared employees.

• Oversee all payroll functions for the assigned employees, ensuring timely and precise processing of multi-state payroll schedules, including weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly cycles.

• Manage payroll-related accounts and execute multi-state payroll processes.

• Ensure the reconciliation and accuracy of the payroll system.

• Prepare necessary forms, input data into the payroll system, calculate wages and deductions, and update payroll records.

• Collaborate with clients to address payroll inquiries and resolve issues.

• Maintain and manage records pertinent to payroll transactions, including salary alterations, deduction modifications, terminations, and updates to names and addresses.

• Work alongside clients to rectify payroll discrepancies and challenges.

• Handle the processing of garnishments.

• Gather and verify that new hire documentation and relevant paperwork are accurately processed within payroll and timekeeping systems.

• Keep W-4 and I-9 documents for all new hires and manage E-Verify processing.


⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.

• At least three (3) years of experience in payroll processing, including garnishments, general deductions, and maintenance of W-2 and I-9 forms.

• Depending on the client payroll processing assignment, a minimum of three (3) years of experience with payroll processing in auto dealerships may be necessary.

• Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) is preferred.

• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) is preferred.

• Bilingual abilities are preferred.

• Basic understanding of processing job-costed and certified payrolls.

• Familiarity with time clock systems.

• Knowledge of Department of Labor regulations and Fair Labor Standards Act as they pertain to payroll and overtime.

• Proficient in using personal computers and payroll database systems.

• Strong skills in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
