📋 Description

• The Payroll and Accounts Receivable Specialist plays a vital role in supporting essential finance and accounting operations, which encompass payroll processing, accounts receivable, collections, and certain general ledger tasks.

• This position is instrumental in ensuring the precise and prompt administration of payroll, efficient collection of customer payments, accurate maintenance of accounts receivable records, and proper reconciliation of payroll-related accounting activities.

• The main goal of this role is to guarantee timely and accurate payroll processing, provide effective support for accounts receivable and collections, and ensure accurate accounting entries and reconciliations related to payroll.

• Success in this position can be evaluated by the punctual and precise completion of payroll processing, the accuracy of employee payroll setups, and the effectiveness in collecting overdue invoices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Payroll certification is highly preferred.

• A strong foundational understanding of payroll processes and practices, particularly in California, is essential.

• Experience with Rippling payroll is strongly preferred.

• Familiarity with basic accounting principles is required.

• Prior experience in accounts receivable, collections, or related accounting functions is preferred.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, HRIS/payroll systems, and Adobe Acrobat is necessary.

• A keen attention to detail and accuracy is crucial.

• The ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately is required.

• Strong organizational and time management skills are essential.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills are necessary.

• Must be able to work independently in a fully remote setting.

• Capability to manage multiple priorities and adhere to recurring deadlines is important.
