• Cultivating the abilities of territory managers to drive sales and market share growth, which may involve strategizing, coaching, training, and inspiring within the acute care hospital, children's hospital, and pediatric, OB, and pediatric GI physician office sectors.
• Engaging in field activities (averaging 10 visits per representative annually) and completing the necessary documentation to support these visits (including TM Evaluation, follow-up emails, etc.).
• Managing team and human resources functions, such as assessing performance, offering performance improvement coaching, and writing performance appraisals.
• Conducting recruitment and selection tasks, including sourcing, interviewing, and maintaining a diverse pool of candidates, participating in job fairs, and keeping a file of qualified candidates for potential turnover.
• Overseeing administrative responsibilities by driving the business through SWOT analysis, managing hospital contracts, representative routing, proper resource allocation, and budgeting (including gratis and expenses); communicating with the Regional Director about issues and opportunities.
• Executing special projects, such as organizing meetings, training sessions, and more.
• A Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
• A minimum of 3 years of sales leadership experience is required, with a preference for 5-10 years.
• Experience in hospital sales is necessary.
• Management experience in building and coaching a team is essential.
• A solid understanding of geographical and business landscapes is crucial.
• Mastery in technical product sales, along with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Capacity to adjust personal styles to accommodate the needs of others.
• Exceptional organizational and planning abilities.
• Proven expertise in training and development.
• Demonstrated strength in strategic thinking, decision-making, teamwork, initiative, and business development.
• Ability to comprehend and implement field sales directives and management policies.
