This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.
• Enhancing the skills of territory managers to promote sales and market share growth through strategies such as coaching, training, and inspiration, specifically in acute care hospitals, children's hospitals, and pediatric, OB, and pediatric GI physician offices.
• Engaging in fieldwork (averaging 10 visits per representative annually) and completing all necessary documentation to support these visits, including TM evaluations and follow-up emails.
• Managing team and human resource functions, which include performance evaluations, providing coaching for performance enhancement, and writing performance appraisals.
• Conducting recruitment and selection activities such as sourcing, interviewing, and ensuring a diverse candidate pool, participating in job fairs, and maintaining a file of qualified candidates for potential turnover.
• Administrative responsibilities involve driving business success through SWOT analysis, managing hospital contracts, representative routing, resource allocation, and budgeting (including gratis and expenses); communicating with the Regional Director regarding issues and opportunities.
• Special projects may include conducting meetings and training sessions. Accountability includes overseeing the district budget, managing financial and marketing resources, and being accountable for district sales representatives. Travel is mandatory for all sales meetings and district field visits (25%).
• A bachelor's degree is required.
• A minimum of 2-3 years of sales leadership experience is required, with a preference for 5-10 years.
• A strategic mindset is essential.
• Experience in hospital sales is advantageous.
• B-to-B business sales experience is a plus.
• Management experience, particularly in building and coaching a team, is necessary.
• An understanding of geography and the business landscape is important.
• Proficiency in technical product sales and excellence in written and verbal communication is required.
• The ability to adapt personal communication style to meet the needs of others is essential.
• Strong organizational and planning skills are crucial.
• Proven strengths in training and development are required.
• Demonstrated capabilities in strategic thinking, decision-making, teamwork, initiative, and business driving are necessary.
• The ability to comprehend and implement field sales directives and management policies is required.
