
Pediatric Nutrition District Sales Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Enhancing the skills of territory managers to promote sales and market share growth, which may involve strategizing, coaching, training, and inspiring in the acute care hospital, children's hospital, and pediatric, OB, and pediatric GI physician office sectors.
• Engaging in fieldwork (averaging 10 visits per representative annually) and completing the necessary documentation to support these visits (TM Evaluation, follow-up emails, etc.).
• Managing team and human resources functions, including evaluating performance, providing coaching for improvement, and writing performance appraisals.
• Conducting recruitment and selection activities such as sourcing, interviewing, maintaining a diverse candidate pool, participating in job fairs, and keeping a file of qualified candidates for potential turnover.
• Performing administrative tasks to drive the business through SWOT analysis, hospital contract management, representative routing, appropriate resource allocation, and budgeting (including gratis and expenses); liaising with the Regional Director regarding issues and opportunities.
• Overseeing special projects, such as organizing meetings and training sessions.
• A Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
• A minimum of 2 to 3 years of sales leadership experience is required, with a preference for 5 to 10 years.
• A strategic mindset is essential.
• Experience in hospital sales is advantageous.
• Background in B-to-B business sales is a plus.
• Management experience in building and coaching a team is necessary.
• Knowledge of geography and the business landscape is important.
• Proven expertise in the sales of technical products, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Capability to adjust personal style to meet the needs of others.
• Strong organizational and planning abilities are required.
• Demonstrated effectiveness in training is necessary.
• Proven strengths in strategic thinking, decision-making, teamwork, initiative, and driving business success.
• Ability to comprehend and execute field sales directives and management policies is essential.
