This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Achieve or surpass sales targets within the designated geographic region.
• Establish and nurture relationships with key diabetes decision-makers and influencers.
• Implement initiatives aimed at enhancing customer loyalty.
• Present and demonstrate Insulet products along with related diabetes products, including competitors’ offerings.
• Train customers on the use of Insulet data management software.
• Actively engage with Managed Markets and enhance knowledge of managed care organizations and their decision-makers.
• Facilitate and lead necessary customer training programs.
• Maintain a prominent presence with professional diabetes organizations in the assigned region.
• Oversee sales promotions relevant to the assigned territory.
• Collaborate with colleagues from commercial and corporate offices.
• Conduct field sales activities with professionalism, adhering to promotional guidelines.
• Complete administrative tasks in a timely manner while adhering to the specified budget.
• Connect professional contacts within assigned accounts with Insulet's operational, quality, and customer service teams.
• Associate Degree required.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience.
• Required professional credentials and/or certifications: Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE), Registered Dietitian (RD), or Registered Nurse (RN).
• State licensure as mandated by state regulations.
• Valid driver's license.
• Exceptional oral and written communication abilities.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Capability to implement sales and marketing strategies while managing a territory budget.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment and focus on results.
• Collaborative team player with experience working directly with healthcare professionals and individuals with diabetes.
• Proficient in computer usage and data analysis.
• Must reside within the geographic boundaries of the assigned territory.
• Willingness to travel by car regularly within the designated geographic region.
• Ability to lift, carry, and transport items weighing up to 30 lbs.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Experience in sales or clinical selling in medical devices and/or diabetes is preferred.
• Established relationships with endocrinologists are preferred.
• Prior experience in the industry, clinical, and diabetes training is preferred.
