PE-QM Functional Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Oversee, design, implement, and maintain business solutions across SAP S/4HANA Production Execution, SAP S/4HANA Quality Management, and laboratory information management systems.

• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, laboratory, and operational teams to comprehend business requirements and convert them into functional specifications.

• Conduct workshops, process evaluations, and solution design discussions.

• Offer subject matter expertise in production execution, quality management, and laboratory information management processes.

• Build and nurture relationships with business subject matter experts, architects, vendors, and implementation partners.

• Guide solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment efforts.

• Evaluate business needs and create functional specifications for enhancements, integrations, reports, interfaces, and workflows.

• Work alongside technical teams and vendors on system integrations and extensions.

• Manage medium- to large-scale projects and enhancement initiatives.

• Develop project plans, timelines, resource assessments, and implementation strategies.

• Monitor project advancements, risks, issues, and dependencies while facilitating timely resolutions.

• Assist with system upgrades, releases, and digital transformation projects.

• Provide functional support for production, quality, and laboratory management applications.

• Diagnose complex business process and system challenges.

• Oversee enhancement requests from initiation through prioritization, design, testing, and deployment.

• Recognize opportunities for process optimization, automation, and standardization.

• Support root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives.

• Collaborate with software vendors and system integration partners.

• Review solution proposals, estimates, and technical designs.

• Ensure vendor deliverables align with business and technical requirements.

• Engage in solution evaluations and technology roadmaps.

• Ensure adherence to corporate policies, regulatory mandates, and industry standards.

• Aid in audit preparedness, validation activities, and documentation requirements.

• Maintain functional documentation, process flows, training materials, and support procedures.

• Advocate for best practices in system design, change management, and quality assurance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, or a related field.

• An equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered.

• Over 5 years of experience as a Functional Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or Architect.

• Practical experience in supporting and implementing SAP S/4HANA Production Execution and SAP S/4HANA Quality Management solutions.

• Familiarity with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) such as RealSPC, LabVantage, or similar platforms.

• Experience in leading projects and managing enhancement portfolios within manufacturing and quality contexts.

• Experience collaborating with software vendors and system integrators.

• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing execution processes, production order management, process manufacturing, discrete manufacturing operations, shop floor integration, quality planning and inspection, quality notifications, corrective actions, laboratory testing, sample management, batch management, traceability, master data management, and manufacturing compliance.

• Understanding of SAP S/4HANA Production Execution, Production Planning integration, Quality Management, Batch Management, Material Master, and Master Data.

• Knowledge of laboratory workflows, data management, quality data collection, and analytics.

• Familiarity with SAP integration concepts, API and interface management via Integration Suite, data analysis and reporting tools, and process mapping and documentation tools.

• Strong skills in business process analysis.

• Capability to influence stakeholders across various organizational levels.

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

• Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams without direct authority.

• Willingness to travel up to 20%.

• Preferred: SAP S/4HANA certifications in Manufacturing or Quality Management.

• Preferred: experience in consumer products or food and beverage manufacturing.

• Preferred: experience with system validation and in regulated environments.

• Preferred: knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project delivery methodologies.

• Preferred: experience with digital manufacturing and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
