This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.
• Implement and assist in the design of payroll governance, process, and system strategies aimed at standardizing, streamlining, and automating processes to enhance business efficiencies.
• Capture, document, and transition local knowledge, policies, and processes into the HR Shared Services organization.
• Work collaboratively with system vendors, local country teams, and payroll shared service operations to execute payroll solutions that align with global designs while fulfilling localized business requirements and operational needs.
• Serve as the primary expert on the payroll system’s functionalities to address any business requests for enhancements or modifications in response to a continually evolving environment.
• Partner with IT to convert business requirements into technical solutions/plans and prioritize future enhancements.
• Collaborate across the organization on the deployment and maintenance of the chosen payroll solutions throughout the company’s global presence.
• Organize and conduct design sessions to optimize process and system configurations to enhance the end-user experience.
• Collect, propose, and support new requests or system enhancements to promote continuous improvement.
• Design, maintain, and report on SLAs and performance KPI dashboards.
• Develop and maintain site-sharing training materials, job aids, system updates, policies, etc.
• Communicate updates, system changes, and business developments to stakeholders as necessary.
• Represent Payroll in Shared Services initiatives.
• Assist operational teams in validating the impact of policy changes on operational procedures.
• Collaborate with teams to develop, implement, and review surveys and audit controls.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the manager.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience is preferred.
• Over 6 years of experience with payroll processes and/or transformation.
• Experience in executing system implementations and projects.
• Strong analytical skills to critically assess information.
• Must be a team player, yet capable of working independently.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships across various functions to drive teams toward success-based outcomes.
• Must be focused, goal-driven, accountable, and demonstrate significant attention to detail.
• Knowledge of payroll in multiple countries.
• Expertise in project management or transformation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft tools.
• Experience with multiple payroll vendor systems.
• Familiarity with HCM systems, preferably Workday.
• Experience with ticketing systems, such as ServiceNow, is preferred.
• Fluent in English.
• Proficiency in an additional European language is preferred.
• Flexibility in working hours to accommodate global time zones.
