This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Manage bi-weekly payroll processing for over 400 employees across multiple states and internationally.
• Ensure compliance with the company's policies and guidelines.
• Collaborate with the HR benefits team to verify the accuracy of benefit deductions.
• Set up garnishments with precision.
• Act as the Timesheet Administrator for the Deltek Timekeeping system.
• Facilitate coordination between team members and various internal departments.
• Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and processing issues.
• Conduct training sessions for current and new employees, as well as managers, on the timekeeping system.
• Address inquiries from state and unemployment accounts, and troubleshoot any issues.
• Provide assistance on payroll-related matters as required.
• Support Accounts Payable with billing and invoice processing tasks.
• An Associate’s degree is mandatory.
• A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience is typically required.
• Expertise in preparing multi-state and international payroll.
• Experience in handling international payroll processes.
• Proven track record as a payroll specialist in a government contracting setting.
• Familiarity with the Deltek T&E system and ADP Workforce System is essential.
