Payroll Specialist Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Serve as a genuine subject matter expert for the country.

• Maintain and nurture existing relationships with key stakeholders in Payroll Implementation, Finance, Product, and Engineering.

• Handle comprehensive end-to-end payroll processing in-house, which includes statutory filing requirements, exceptions, approvals, payments, and compliance.

• Guarantee complete data integrity and quality.

• Prepare payroll journals and conduct reconciliations.

• Concentrate on KPIs and SLAs.

• Implement and enhance processes.

• Mentor and provide support to payroll specialists.

• Act as a backup for regional managers during their absences.

• Report directly to the Manager of Global Payroll Operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in end-to-end payroll processing either in-house or at a payroll service provider.

• Strong understanding of payroll best practices.

• Proficient in software tools such as Excel and Google Suite.

• Possess an analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international work environment with a desire to make a significant impact.

• Be a productivity enthusiast who consistently seeks ways to enhance and expedite their work.

• Understand the importance and ideal of primarily working asynchronously.

• Fluent in both written and spoken English.
