Payroll Specialist, EMEA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Process payroll for various countries across Europe, ensuring precision and compliance with local regulations.

• Review, verify, and approve salary registers for the European region, making sure payroll data aligns with country-specific rules and regulations.

• Create invoices within the HRIS system based on payroll data and promptly distribute them to clients.

• Address client inquiries related to payroll and invoicing, providing clear and accurate guidance on European payroll processes.

• Collaborate with internal teams to consistently enhance and develop payroll processes for the region, ensuring seamless operations and adherence to local requirements.

• Stay informed about regional employment tax regulations and laws, applying this knowledge to ensure compliant payroll processing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong understanding of payroll regulations, employer burdens, and pension contributions for European countries, especially Spain, France, Portugal, and Italy.

• Proficient in local employment tax rules and compliance throughout the European region.

• 3-5 years of experience as a payroll specialist or in a similar position, focusing on payroll for European nations.

• Familiarity with HRIS and payroll systems.

• Excellent communication skills for addressing client inquiries and collaborating with internal teams.

• Strong attention to detail, capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience with multiple global locations and managing headcounts of over 500 employees across various countries.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications.

• Exceptional multitasking and organizational abilities.
