Payroll Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Gathering timesheet information

• Inputting data into administrative databases and software applications

• Ensuring accurate records of payroll documentation and transactions

• Addressing payroll-related queries and resolving issues

• Conducting account balance and payroll reconciliations

• Compiling financial reports for accounting and auditing purposes

• Generating periodic payroll reports for management review

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in accounting, business, or a related discipline is preferred

• At least 3 years of experience in payroll or a comparable position

• Experience with multi-state payroll is essential

• Previous knowledge of prevailing wage regulations is required

• Familiarity with basic accounting principles and payroll practices

• Proficiency in accounting and payroll software, with ADP Workforce Now preferred

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• High numerical proficiency
