This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Manage and oversee multiple weekly and bi-weekly payrolls, ensuring precision, punctuality, and adherence to regulations.

• Print and distribute payroll checks while overseeing associated documentation.

• Input payroll modifications including garnishments, deductions, wage assignments, vacation payments, bonus payments, advances, and other special disbursements.

• Request and process supplemental checks, which include child support payments, employee savings deposits, net deposits, and tax-related disbursements.

• Handle monthly health and dental insurance billings, ensuring correct integration with payroll records.

• Assist with new hire orientation, payroll configuration, timekeeping enrollment, and onboarding processes.

• Maintain records, filings, and reports related to payroll.

• Prepare and submit necessary monthly, quarterly, and annual governmental forms and reports.

• Oversee IRS and state tax checks for multi-state payroll functions.

• Aid in automated timekeeping and weekly tasks, including pay modifications, reclassifications, terminations, new hires, enrollments, and union reporting.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of payroll experience with a strong foundation in end-to-end payroll processing.

• Proven experience in multi-state payroll processing, including adherence to regulations in various states.

• Skilled in managing weekly and bi-weekly payroll cycles for multiple groups or business units.

• Capability to accurately manage complex payroll adjustments such as garnishments, deductions, wage assignments, bonuses, advances, and vacation payouts.

• Experience in preparing and filing monthly, quarterly, and yearly government payroll reports and documentation.

• Familiarity with processing IRS and state tax checks within a multi-state payroll context.

• Background in supporting payroll operations for offices or corporations within a large, multi-unit organization.

• Previous exposure to union reporting and collaboration with teams managing union payroll and prevailing wage.

• Proficient in using ECMS or similar ERP systems for payroll and associated financial processes.

• Experience with Bamboo or comparable payroll platforms.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with pivot tables and VLOOKUP is highly advantageous.
