This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the regular processing of payroll for both U.S. and international employees.

• Act as the initial point of contact for employee inquiries regarding paychecks, taxes, deductions, direct deposits, garnishments, and various payroll-related issues.

• Deliver prompt, precise, and high-quality customer service while addressing payroll questions and concerns.

• Examine and audit payroll data, including hours worked, pay rates, deductions, and employee details.

• Detect and rectify payroll discrepancies.

• Aid in payroll-related onboarding and offboarding processes.

• Ensure accurate maintenance of employee payroll records and uphold data integrity across HRIS and payroll systems.

• Assist with payroll adjustments, corrections, off-cycle payments, and special payroll requests.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and international payroll regulations.

• Collaborate with People and Finance teams to investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies.

• Support year-end payroll tasks, including W-2 distribution and communications with employees.

• Maintain organized documentation and contribute to the ongoing improvement of payroll processes and controls.


⛳️ Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in customer service, payroll, HR operations, accounting operations, or a related field.

• Basic understanding of payroll processes and terminology, including taxes, deductions, garnishments, direct deposits, and payroll adjustments.

• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on solutions.

• Capability to manage sensitive and confidential employee information with discretion.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and quick to learn payroll, HRIS, and other business systems.

• Advanced spreadsheet skills are an asset.

• Ability to juggle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and consistently deliver quality in a fast-paced setting.

• An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business, or a related area is preferred.

• Comfortable working independently in a remote setting.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
