This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Execute comprehensive payroll operations for the US PEO environment, ensuring precision, promptness, and adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.
• Validate payroll data, calculations, and outputs, ensuring data integrity throughout all payroll cycles.
• Handle payroll-related exceptions, adjustments, and reconciliations, escalating complex issues when necessary.
• Assist in the operational implementation of payroll processes, including system updates, statutory changes, and new program launches.
• Act as a liaison for internal teams and pertinent external stakeholders concerning payroll execution and compliance.
• Identify potential improvements in payroll processes, documentation, and operational workflows.
• Engage in testing payroll system enhancements and updates to confirm operational readiness.
• Offer support and guidance to fellow payroll specialists as needed to ensure continuity and quality in payroll delivery.
• Track and contribute to payroll performance metrics, including SLAs and KPIs.
• Collaborate with Payroll Operations, Finance, Product, and Service Operations teams.
• Demonstrated experience in end-to-end payroll execution within the US PEO or a similar environment, encompassing payroll validations, reconciliations, and statutory filings.
• Familiarity with US federal, state, and local payroll regulations and best practices in payroll.
• Experience in implementing payroll processes or contributing to operational rollouts.
• Strong analytical abilities, capable of identifying issues, interpreting data, and resolving discrepancies accurately.
• Proficiency in payroll systems and the ability to swiftly adapt to new operational tools; experience with automation or AI-assisted workflows is an advantage.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote-first, asynchronous work environment.
• A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills for effective partnership with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adept at managing multiple payroll cycles and deadlines efficiently.
• Experience in multi-country payroll is advantageous but not required for this US-focused position.
• Exhibit high integrity and discretion when managing sensitive payroll information.
