This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
• The Workday Product Architect is responsible for leading the design, development, and deployment of comprehensive Workday solutions.
• Spearhead the creation of scalable and secure HR/Payroll/Finance system architectures that align with organizational objectives, business requirements, and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders from Finance, HR, IS, and other business units to gather requirements, propose solutions, and ensure successful implementation.
• Develop integration strategies that connect Workday with other enterprise systems.
• Enhance business processes by utilizing Workday HR/Payroll/Finance functionalities and automation features.
• Establish and manage security frameworks tailored for HR/Payroll/Finance modules.
• Offer insights on data governance, internal controls, and audit compliance within the Workday environment.
• Supervise complex configurations and system changes, ensuring adherence to best practices while minimizing disruptions.
• Lead the troubleshooting and resolution of high-complexity system issues escalated by support or operations teams.
• Maintain thorough documentation of HR/Payroll/Finance system architecture, integration designs, and process workflows.
• Mentor and assist consulting and technical teams engaged in Workday HR/Payroll/Finance implementations.
• Stay updated on Workday enhancements, industry trends, and emerging technologies to recommend ongoing improvements.
• Ensure consistency across modules and interactions within Workday and other systems.
• Minimum Required Education: Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum Required Experience: Over 8 years of progressive experience with Workday platforms, including substantial hands-on expertise in at least two of the following areas: HCM, Payroll, or Finance modules.
• At least 3 years of experience in a Workday architectural, lead configuration, or technical design capacity.
• Proven proficiency in system architecture, integration design, Workday security models, and compliance controls.
• Strong understanding of HR, Payroll, and Finance principles, business processes, and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and managing integrations between Workday and other enterprise systems.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to troubleshoot complex, cross-module issues.
• Experience working alongside senior HR, Finance, and IT stakeholders to define and execute Workday strategies.
• Preferred Certification / Licensure(s): Workday Core HCM certification; Workday Integration, Payroll, and/or Financials Certification; Workday Extend or Workday Reporting/Prism Certification.
