This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Accountable for the preparation, processing, supervision, and auditing of bi-weekly and semi-monthly payrolls for a variety of clients.
• Responds to calls, emails, and inquiries related to payroll for client(s).
• Review and verify the accuracy of timecards, deductions, and health insurance.
• Efficiently complete employer/employee requests and changes, including issue resolution.
• Generate, execute, and distribute comprehensive reports that include leave balances, overtime, and retirement contributions.
• Conduct monthly reconciliations of general ledger accounts pertaining to payroll, which includes payroll tax, workers' compensation, 401(k), and garnishments.
• Aid in updating payroll manuals, system manuals, and training manuals to ensure they remain accurate and up to date.
• Compile monthly workers' compensation reports in accordance with the client scope of work.
• Prepare quarterly and annual payroll reports for all federal and state authorities, reconciling all quarterly and annual payroll general ledger tax accounts.
• Reconcile all payroll general ledger accounts.
• Participate in Workers' Compensation and Payroll Audits as required.
• Process year-end reports and reconcile W-2 information for accuracy.
• Review payroll transactions to confirm accurate posting to the General Ledger.
• Assist in documenting and updating procedures to ensure optimal efficiency.
• Additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor's degree or a comparable combination of education and experience is essential.

• Proven experience in payroll processing (SAP ECP preferred).
