This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of the Payroll Implementation process, which includes importing a customer's prior payroll history and configuring their tax setup.
• Innovate both the product and the process creatively to ultimately provide a top-tier experience for our clients.
• Ensure a high level of data integrity for the Customer Success team by auditing clients’ payroll data (including tax filings and imported payroll history from a client’s previous provider) and confirming Seso is configured to file with the relevant tax agencies.
• Manage the relationship with customers as they transition to Seso payroll, acting as their strongest advocate within the organization.
• Assist clients during their initial payroll run and equip them with the knowledge to independently manage future payrolls.
• Conduct thorough audits of historical data, company-level data, and employee-level data to guarantee accuracy and reliability throughout the implementation process.
• Manage client expectations by serving as their advocate within Seso to address any concerns that may hinder an optimal client experience.
• Coordinate with all internal and external departments, including Product, Engineering, Design, Operations, Partnerships, Finance, and Legal.
• Collaborate closely with leadership to identify and anticipate risks, opportunities, and key gaps to ensure the success of our partners.
• Develop playbooks for systems and processes to facilitate the scaling of future partners.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll implementation management within a fast-paced environment, ideally with experience in developing your own processes and customer-facing materials.
• A strong sense of ownership and urgency when addressing customer issues.
• Comfortable in a dynamic environment where processes and products frequently evolve.
• Proven experience in creating playbooks from scratch and scaling systems and processes effectively.
• Excellent project management skills (organized, adaptable, and able to manage multiple projects/priorities in a rapidly changing environment).
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of an organization—both internally and externally—from executives to individual contributors.
• Strong interpersonal capabilities with the ability to build relationships, demonstrate empathy, and influence decision-making.
• Proficient in prioritizing customer needs, understanding pain points, solving problems with clients, and clearly communicating product requirements to product and engineering teams.
• A demonstrable interest in agriculture and enhancing the lives of farmers and farmworkers is a plus.
• Spanish-speaking fluency is strongly preferred.
