This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Facilitate end-to-end payroll processes, encompassing payroll transaction handling, reconciliation, reporting, taxation, and other statutory obligations/payments.
• Engage collaboratively with external payroll vendors, internal project teams, and regional/global payroll teams.
• Accountable for all elements of payroll processing, ensuring that transactions comply with internal and external payroll and time & labor regulations, policies, and practices.
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of pay calculation rules, including those pertaining to new hires, terminations, time processing, and payroll adjustments for the assigned market, as well as a general awareness of local payroll processing laws.
• Audit and uphold payroll and timekeeping records in accordance with established standards.
• Assist HR Business Partners in guiding supervisors on local and global policies.
• Review and address emails in the shared mailbox, ensuring that the appropriate helpdesk is utilized for all inquiries related to Workday, benefits, and payroll.
• Provide support during internal and external audits.
• Offer coverage for other EMEA markets during periods of absence as needed.
• Verify and review Workday information for benefits administrators to ensure that data is updated as necessary for access to local benefits.
• Ensure timely processing, submission, and payment of all invoices.
• A minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in the HR/Payroll domain.
• Proficiency in both German and English.
• Outstanding problem-solving abilities with a strong emphasis on data integrity, process definition, and a commitment to continuous learning.
• Strong analytical capabilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Familiarity with Workday is advantageous.
