
Payroll Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.
• Accurately process bi-weekly payroll in a timely manner.
• Input salary modifications, commission payouts, bonuses, vacation pay, sick leave, and other payroll information.
• Review calculated wages and rectify any discrepancies.
• Execute payroll changes accurately.
• Handle wage garnishments, payment levies, and other court-mandated payments.
• Report garnishments and levies to the appropriate state offices or jurisdictions.
• Provide assistance to employees regarding payroll inquiries and clarify company payroll policies.
• Oversee employee onboarding and ensure timely processing of status changes, including new hires, salary adjustments, classifications, and terminations.
• Maintain employee records and update documents in SharePoint/Cloud.
• Collaborate with Human Resources and Accounting on payroll financial analysis and related issues.
• Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency enhancements.
• Conduct quarterly deduction audits.
• Carry out additional assigned responsibilities.
• Work under the supervision of the Payroll Manager based in the USA.
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Over 2 years of experience in payroll processing.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ADP WFN is preferred.
• Preferred experience in processing payroll across multiple states.
• Familiarity with federal and state labor leave laws, particularly those of California, is preferred.
• Strong commitment to customer service and a sense of ownership over projects and outcomes.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.
• Proactive attitude and initiative.
• Capacity to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

• Capability to complete a video interview with the corporate recruiting team for remote positions.
