This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Prepare and document payroll-related general ledger journal entries.

• Oversee complex payroll journals, bank transactions, accruals, and prepayment amortization activities.

• Reconcile and manage payroll liability accounts effectively.

• Investigate and rectify accounting errors, mis-postings, and discrepancies in reconciliations.

• Analyze and clarify month-end payroll liability movements for financial reporting purposes.

• Address queries from finance stakeholders and offer payroll accounting expertise.

• Assist with year-end audits and fiscal reporting through documentation and analysis.

• Foster team member development through knowledge sharing and collaboration.

• Identify and recommend enhancements to payroll accounting processes, controls, and reporting efficiency.

• Work in collaboration with the Senior Manager, Global Payroll and the broader finance team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

• At least 5 years of experience in a finance department.

• Strong grasp of complex double-entry bookkeeping principles.

• Experience in preparing and reconciling payroll-related accounting transactions and liability accounts.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

• Excellent time management skills, capable of meeting tight deadlines while ensuring accuracy.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a dedication to confidentiality.

• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
