Payments & Fraud Operations Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Serve as the main point of contact for urgent customer inquiries outside regular hours through phone, email, or ticketing systems.

• Oversee payment processing, authorizations, and declines to ensure a seamless operation during non-core hours.

• Perform real-time transaction monitoring to identify any suspicious or fraudulent activities.

• Assess and prioritize incidents across payment and fraud sectors according to established protocols.

• Recognize recurring problems and assist in enhancing processes and automation.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-4+ years of experience in payments operations, fraud operations, or fintech operations.

• Background in transaction monitoring, incident management, or payment investigations.

• Knowledge of card payments, payment processors, or financial systems.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Ability to work independently during non-core hours.

• Experience with monitoring tools, ticketing systems, or fraud detection platforms such as Thredd, FraudAdvantage, Jira, Slack, Visa/MC Connect.

• Data analysis proficiency (e.g., Excel; SQL is an added advantage).
