This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Cyprus.
• Oversee, assess, and enhance payment performance across various merchants, processors, payment methods, and markets.
• Evaluate approval rates, decline trends, payment routing efficiency, retry and cascading effectiveness, 3DS performance, and transaction success rates.
• Conduct in-depth analyses to uncover trends, anomalies, and optimization possibilities across processors, card schemes, BINs, countries, merchants, and payment methods.
• Assess the impact of product features, processor integrations, routing modifications, payment optimization efforts, and A/B testing.
• Create and maintain dashboards and reports for Product, Merchant Solutions, Executive, and other business teams.
• Define, track, and enhance key product and payment KPIs.
• Investigate merchant and processor performance, determine root causes, and propose enhancements.
• Collaborate with Product Managers on product discovery, feature prioritization, and success evaluation.
• Partner with Solution Engineers, Integration Analysts, and the ML Specialist to enhance payment performance and operational efficiency.
• Detect anomalies, emerging trends, and optimization opportunities through ongoing monitoring.
• Clearly present analytical discoveries and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Product Analyst, Payments Analyst, or in a comparable analytical position.
• Proficient in SQL, including complex queries and window functions.
• Familiarity with BI tools such as Metabase, Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar platforms.
• Proficient in Python, including Pandas and Jupyter Notebook, for data analysis.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience in managing large datasets.
• Ability to convert complex data into straightforward business recommendations.
• Background in FinTech, Payments, SaaS, or E-commerce.
• Understanding of payment processing, payment orchestration, or PSP integrations.
• Knowledge of payment routing, retries, cascading, and 3DS authentication.
• Familiarity with payment KPIs such as approval rate, conversion rate, authorization rate, and decline analysis.
• Understanding of fraud-related metrics, chargebacks, RDR, and risk signals.
• Experience in product analytics, experimentation, and measuring feature adoption.
• Basic knowledge of Machine Learning concepts.
• English level requirement to be specified in the application form: A1–C2.
