This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.
• Identify and onboard new merchant clients across sectors including Retail, Hospitality, Healthcare, and the Public Sector.
• Conduct product demonstrations and effectively communicate the value of MPS solutions.
• Oversee a dynamic sales pipeline utilizing Salesforce and various CRM tools.
• Negotiate pricing and contract terms to efficiently finalize deals.
• Develop and nurture strong, long-lasting client relationships.
• Implement customer retention strategies to minimize churn and enhance satisfaction.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients by providing insights and solutions customized to their business requirements.
• Identify and target opportunities in rapidly growing geographies and sectors.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory updates.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and guidelines for promotional offers.
• Maintain precise records of sales activities and client interactions.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Two to three years of pertinent sales experience.
• Willingness to travel.
• 3–5 years of direct sales experience, ideally in payments, financial services, or SaaS.
• Demonstrated history of achieving or surpassing sales targets.
• Strong knowledge of merchant services and payment processing.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational abilities.
• Proficient in Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms.
• Familiarity with MPS platforms and U.S. Bank distribution channels is advantageous.
• Regional market knowledge in the Southeast U.S. is a plus.
