This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Maintain and enhance recurring payment reports and dashboards.
• Modify reporting to accommodate new applications, markets, and business requirements.
• Independently generate analytical reports and data extracts.
• Incorporate filters and dimensions into existing dashboards.
• Track payment performance, alerts, and week-over-week variations in key metrics.
• Detect anomalies in payment data and perform initial investigations.
• Conduct data quality checks and ensure consistency across various data sources.
• Work with extensive product and transactional datasets.
• Deliver clear conclusions and actionable insights to the Payments team.
• Collaborate with Payments, Product, Finance, and other cross-functional teams.
• Spot opportunities to automate recurring reports and analytical workflows.
• Contribute to advanced payment analytics, experiments, and business hypotheses.
• Gradually assume ownership of recurring dashboards, reports, filters, data extracts, monitoring, and alerting.
• Identify issues, clarify data behavior, and escalate anomalies with the necessary context.
• 1–3 years of practical experience in Data Analytics, Product Analytics, or a related analytical role.
• Proficient SQL skills with the capability to write queries independently.
• Practical experience in Python for data analysis and automation tasks.
• Familiarity with statistics and analytical methodologies.
• Experience working with large datasets and real business or product data.
• Proven experience in creating or maintaining reports and BI dashboards.
• Advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Capacity to validate data, recognize inconsistencies, and investigate anomalies.
• Ability to clearly articulate work undertaken, issues resolved, and the significance of results.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
• Ownership mindset with a sense of responsibility for outcomes.
• High learning agility and a genuine interest in growth within the payments sector.
• Clear, structured communication skills with a readiness to raise questions or obstacles early.
• Previous experience in payments is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Nice-to-have: experience with payment, transactional, billing, or financial data.
• Nice-to-have: familiarity with subscription-based, web-to-app, fintech, e-commerce, gaming, or high-volume B2C products.
• Nice-to-have: understanding of monetization models and online payment processes.
• Nice-to-have: experience with AWS Athena or Amazon S3.
• Nice-to-have: proficiency in Tableau, Apache Superset, Looker, or similar BI tools.
• Nice-to-have: experience in automating reports or recurring analytical processes.
