Payments Account Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete onboarding process with providers, which includes the preparation of corporate documentation and the completion of application forms;

• Negotiate fees and advantageous commercial terms with providers;

• Acquire and secure necessary credentials (API keys, access) for provider connections;

• Supervise account onboarding and ongoing management activities;

• Create precise technical specifications for the integration of new providers and payment methods;

• Manage integration tasks throughout all phases, from setup to production, in collaboration with development, QA, and other teams;

• Cultivate and enhance both formal and informal partner relationships;

• Represent the organization at conferences, industry events, partner visits, and business trips in targeted markets;

• Perform market research on prevalent payment methods and share insights internally.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Account Manager/Project/Business Development/Operation Manager or in a similar role within the Payment team;

• Proven experience in communicating with international customers and partners, including C-level executives;

• Knowledge of KYC, AML, and compliance procedures;

• Familiarity with the technical aspects of payment integrations (API, webhooks, transaction statuses, redirects, payment form fields);

• Upper-Intermediate proficiency in English (some internal teams communicate exclusively in English);

• Experience in formulating technical tasks for the development team (ability to convey requirements clearly to technical specialists);

• Understanding of the testing procedures for payment methods prior to production release (this will be considered a plus).
