Payment Operations Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Manage the entire payment cycle: collaborate with request initiators, Legal, and Finance departments, execute payments, confirm their success, and communicate with banks.

• Conduct daily liquidity forecasting for 7–14 days, balance accounts (1C, Tableau, merchant reports), and direct payments according to limits and currency.

• Monitor banking fees and select the most cost-efficient banks to reduce commissions.

• Rigorously verify invoices against internal policies and system information.

• Investigate delays or blocks and perform Root Cause Analysis.

• Daily download and process bank statements.

• Reconcile balances (1C, Tableau, merchant reports) to ensure data is updated by the start of the business day.

• Process Improvement: maintain knowledge bases (Confluence), test new features, and automate repetitive tasks (Excel macros, smart tables, No-code tools).

⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy with data under tight deadlines.

• Capability to manage high-volume transactions while strictly adhering to regulations.

• 2+ years of experience in Treasury, Banking, or FinTech/iGaming (high-volume environments).

• Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

• Practical experience with 1C (or similar accounting systems), familiarity with Tableau or similar reporting tools, and advanced Excel skills.

• Strong analytical abilities and capacity to optimize financial processes.

• Effective communication and coordination skills in cross-functional teams.

• Proficiency in both English and Russian languages.
