Payment Operations Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Oversee the functionality of payment methods, escalating issues to the appropriate providers and teams.

• Evaluate acceptance rates for various payment methods, providers, and cashiers, making informed decisions on which methods to enable or disable and the volume to be processed for each.

• Ensure there is a sufficient available balance across different payment methods for processing withdrawals, initiating top-ups, and analyzing the cost structure of each method.

• Review and develop backup, contingency, and emergency plans.

• Establish monitoring guidelines and procedures for the monitoring and support teams.

• Report daily and weekly payment activities and issues to the Head of Operations.

• Assist with the integration of new payment providers and methods.

• Recommend product and flow enhancements (e.g., validation fields, placeholders on forms).

• Address requests from customer support.

• Test integrations and deployments of new payment methods.

• Collaborate closely with the BI department to facilitate data-driven improvements to all internal reporting and ensure consistent tracking of essential business metrics.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a billing or payments manager/specialist in the online payments sector.

• Proficient in handling numerical data and processing financial and transactional information.

• Advanced user of Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

• Strong understanding of online payment technical integrations, funnels, and flows.

• Experience in effective written and verbal communication with international customers or partners.

• In-depth knowledge of payment and transactional systems and services.

• Upper-Intermediate proficiency in English.

• Experience in the iGaming industry is a plus.
