This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Ensure the operational integrity and optimized functionality of our Payments division.
• Report directly to the GM of Payments to aid in executing and assessing the business strategy.
• Generate, maintain, and convey actionable insights derived from our data to the Payments leadership team.
• Define, measure, and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) by collaborating closely with the GM of Payments and leadership to establish key metrics for operational health and early business optimization signals.
• Design, create, and sustain comprehensive, user-friendly dashboards (daily/weekly) that track business performance and product adoption.
• Move beyond mere report generation to analyze data, recognize patterns, anomalies, and trends, while articulating insights and recommendations.
• Comprehend the payments data model and its underlying architecture, proactively identifying data gaps.
• Oversee and ensure that critical business data is accurately and timely replicating and refreshing.
• Develop, implement, and maintain an alerting framework for data exceptions, failures, or significant deviations in crucial business metrics.
• Execute complex ad-hoc analyses, such as assessments of client profitability.
• Create, maintain, and ensure the precision of internal operational tools.
• Address and fulfill operational data requests from diverse cross-functional teams.
• Generate and uphold technical and business documentation for reports, databases, systems, and standard operating procedures.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related area.
• Over 3 years of professional experience in a Business Intelligence, Data Analyst, or Financial Analyst role, with a strong focus on data querying and business applications.
• Expert-level proficiency in writing SQL queries is essential.
• Required hands-on experience with Databricks.
• Significant experience in developing and maintaining executive-level dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI or Domo.
• Proficient in understanding and interpreting data from analyzing application behavior or software code.
• Strong skills in Excel/Google Sheets for in-depth modeling, analysis, and data manipulation.
• Experience with Python is a plus.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and relational database design.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities with a proven track record of simplifying complex data findings into straightforward, executive-level business language and actionable insights.
• Demonstrated capacity to manage competing priorities, meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment, and maintain meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
