Payment Implementation Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete implementation project for new payment solutions, guaranteeing a seamless and timely launch for our city partners.

• Serve as the main commercial liaison for cities, parking operators, and payment partners (acquirers) throughout the entire implementation process.

• Manage the relationship and deliverables with our external service providers, including our acquiring partners, to ensure effective collaboration.

• Facilitate a successful go-live by coordinating final acceptance testing and managing the handover to our operational teams.

• Collaborate with internal and external technical specialists to resolve implementation challenges and ensure operational readiness.

• Contribute to the advancement and refinement of implementation processes as the function continues to expand.

• Oversee a portfolio of multiple simultaneous implementations across Germany and Europe.

• Coordinate and finalize contractual agreements while assisting in commercial negotiations within established pricing frameworks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in the e-payment ecosystem, preferably in roles such as Payment Operations, Technical Account Management, or Implementation Management.

• Comprehensive knowledge of acquirer management, with a strong preference for familiarity with Payone and Elavon.

• Experience in leading technical rollouts or IT projects.

• Strong grasp of the technical and business components of payment systems (APIs, terminals, settlement).

• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical subjects clearly and succinctly.

• Fluency in both German (C1/Native) and English (C1) is mandatory.
