Payment Account Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Collaboration with payment partners and banks

• Handling operational requests, responding to incidents, and escalating critical cases

• Support for KYC / compliance processes

• Ongoing communication with payment providers and banks in English (including phone calls)

• Monitoring of payment data

• Collection of factual data from payment partners

• Reconciliation with internal analytics, identifying and recording discrepancies

• Coordination of corrections with partners and internal teams

• Management of payment infrastructure

• Opening, closing, and modifying MIDs

• Oversight of the status of legal entities and bank accounts

• Maintaining a comprehensive record of the payment infrastructure

• Monitoring financial conditions

• Verification of fees, payouts, and compliance with actual working conditions

• Participation in the formation and verification of P&L regarding payments

• Internal coordination and processes

• Collaboration with product, finance, accounting, and legal teams

• Support and updating of documentation and workflows

• Initiating improvements, automation, and optimization of operational flows


⛳️ Requirements

• English proficiency at B2+ level — confident written and verbal communication with banks and providers

• Proficient use of Google Sheets (filters, formulas, basic analytics)

• Experience in the payment / fintech domain is a significant advantage, or a basic understanding and ability to navigate how online payments work and their various stages for those without domain experience

• Understanding of fundamental financial processes: fees, payouts, data reconciliation

• Experience working with data: verification, reconciliation, and discrepancy identification

• Attention to detail is critical for this role

• Proactivity and ownership — the ability to identify problems and solutions without waiting for tasks

• Strong communication skills and confidence in interacting with external partners

• Ability to work in uncertain conditions and respond quickly to changes

• Willingness not just to maintain processes but to improve them

• Preferred: experience with complex payment infrastructure (multiple providers, different MIDs)

• Preferred: experience in optimizing operational processes and automation

• Preferred: practical understanding of fraud / risk metrics (chargeback rate, fraud rate)

• Preferred: experience with analytical tools (Tableau or similar)
