Payer Peer to Peer Physician Advisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assess payor peer-to-peer cases concerning authorization outcomes

• Analyze documentation for admission criteria, procedures, and care environments

• Counsel clients on the suitability of requests based on provided documentation

• Collaborate with payor medical directors about authorization decisions

• Deliver written evaluations of cases and conduct reviews across various specialties

• Act as a clinical resource for medical and case management personnel

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of an active, unrestricted MD or DO medical license

• At least 3 years of clinical experience following the completion of residency
