This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Acquire new business within the Veradigm Payer Products portfolio.
• Engage with health plans, managed care organizations, and other risk-bearing entities in a designated territory or a specified prospect list.
• Achieve or surpass annual order intake targets while effectively managing total cost of ownership in relation to prospect budgets.
• Independently generate a pipeline through outbound prospecting, participation in industry events, executive networking, and collaboration with partners and consultants.
• Cultivate C-suite relationships at organizations where Veradigm currently does not have a presence.
• Assess opportunities based on business challenges like Stars and HEDIS performance, accuracy in risk-adjustment revenue, medical loss ratio, administrative costs, interoperability, and prior authorization mandates.
• Collaborate with Solutions Architects, Product, and Delivery teams to design software, data, and service solutions.
• Oversee the discovery process, product demonstrations, development of business cases, pricing strategies, proposals, negotiations, and securing signatures throughout multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
• Coordinate with Legal, InfoSec, and Finance departments regarding procurement, security, privacy, and contracting processes.
• Manage responses for RFPs, RFIs, and evaluations led by consultants.
• Provide accurate forecasts by product, timeline, and value, while communicating potential risks and opportunities to sales leadership.
• Maintain territory and opportunity plans in Salesforce and prepare sales reports.
• Stay informed about the payer market and maintain credibility with executive stakeholders.
• Transition closed accounts to Client Success, Operations & Support, while documenting sales commitments.
• Proven experience in selling enterprise solutions to health plans, managed care organizations, and other risk-bearing entities.
• Experience in new business acquisition and a strong hunter sales mentality.
• Capability to independently generate a pipeline through outbound prospecting, industry events, executive networking, and partnerships with consultants.
• Experience in establishing and nurturing C-suite relationships.
• Understanding of Stars and HEDIS performance, accuracy in risk-adjustment revenue, medical loss ratio, administrative costs, interoperability, and prior authorization mandates.
• Ability to design solutions that integrate software, data, and services.
• Experience in managing the entire strategic sales cycle through to signature.
• Proficiency in navigating payer procurement, security review, privacy, and contracting processes.
• Experience in responding to RFPs, RFIs, and evaluations led by consultants.
• Ability to deliver accurate forecasts and maintain territory and opportunity plans in Salesforce.
• Extensive knowledge of the payer market, including CMS and NCQA program mechanics, competitive positioning, pricing dynamics, and buying cycles.
